By Alex Orlando For The Herald GAINESVILLE -- After flailing, screaming and cursing his way out of an Alachua County courtroom Wednesday, Sept. 1, political activist Charlie Grapski will be spending at least five years on probation.
Grapski was found guilty by Circuit Judge James Nilon on a charge of violating probation by allegedly smoking marijuana while on parole.
He was nearly charged with resisting an officer with violence as he was escorted into the court’s holding cell, according to Nilon.
This happened as he was pulled from the lectern and into his chair by four Sheriff’s deputies while he shouted at the judge, "You have made a mockery of the process. You are a disgrace."
