Alachua-High Springs Relay For Life seeks participants for upcoming fundraising event

ALACHUA – Teams that would like to register to participate in the upcoming American Cancer Society Relay For Life of Alachua – High Springs now can do so a couple of ways.

Teams can register by calling the American Cancer Society at 352-376-6866, ext. 118 or by visiting http://www.acsevents.org/relay/fl/alachua/highsprings

This local Relay For Life brings the Alachua – High Springs community together in a unified effort to fight cancer.

Former and current cancer patients, their families, businesses, civic organizations, and the public are invited to participate in the team event. Relay For Life will take place on May 4-5 at Santa Fe High School in Alachua.

The first team captain meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, Jan. 10 at 6:30 p.m. at the new Alarion Bank Branch in Alachua.

Information about how to form a team or become involved in Relay For Life is available from the American Cancer Society at 352-376-6866.
