Two meetings to discuss local water issues will be held this week.

Water Supply Issues

State Rep. Debbie Boyd will hold a meeting at 7 p.m. Monday, Nov. 16, to address water supply issues. The meeting will be held in Branford at the Branford Elementary School cafeteria

Boyd will be at the meeting. as well as several presenters, including:

* Charles Aller, director of Agriculture Natural Resources Management, from the Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services.

* Staci N. Braswell, director of Government and Community Affairs, from the Florida Farm Bureau Federation.

* Jerry Brooks, director of the Division of Environmental Assessments and Restoration, from the Department of Environmental Protection.

* Eric Draper, deputy director, from Audubon of Florida.

* Michael Holloway, engineer.

* David Still, executive director of the Suwannee River Water Management District.

* Kirk Webster, deputy executive director, Suwannee River Water Management District.

Santa Fe River Basin

A meeting to discuss restoration of the Santa Fe River Basin area will be held from 9 a.m. to noon Tuesday, Nov. 17, at the Fort White Community Center.

This is the first in a series of meetings that will address restoration of the basin.
